Former Grey’s Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl will play the lead role in the HBO film movie adaptation of the best-selling novel “The Knitting Circle”. She plays as the 40 year old Mary who lost her daughter Stella.

Katherine Heigl has been of the camera for quite some time and this movie will mark her come back to the big screen and will be producing the film herself. Heigl’s mother, Nancy heigl, is also helping out as Katherine’s co-producer.
