About Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl began her career as a model at the age of nine and has appeared in vast number of movies and television shows before she became the star celebrity that she has become to be. She is a well established television and motion picture star, best known for her role as Izzy Stevens on popular television series Greys Anatomy. She has also starred in numerous movies, most recently starring as Alison Scott along side Seth Rogan in the 2006 comedy hit Knocked Up.

She is currently continuing to film Greys Anatomy, while also working on the 2008 romantic-comedy 27 dresses, where she plays a woman grappling with the idea of her sisters marrying the man she is secretly in love with.
